DLNA Troubleshooting
Nero Mediahome 2020 Review
If your DLNA network is functioning abnormally, check the following:
Nero Mediahome Wifi Sync
The network settings for your DLNA server.
The router on which the network operates. We recommend using a Wireless N 5 GHz router for viewing 1080p videos. Using a 2.4 GHz connection may result in playback issues.
The network connection. DLNA features may not work smoothly on some wireless networks. We recommend that you use a wired network connection.
The video layers being played. The DLNA feature does not support multiple audio tracks or internal subtitles.
The load on the server. Multiple Smart TVs running the DLNA feature from a single server may cause playback issues.
The subtitle track used in the video. Some DLNA devices may not support certain subtitle formats.
The network conditions. Some DLNA functions may not work smoothly due to network conditions.
The router on which the network operates. Some routers that do not support multicasting also do not support the DLNA feature. For detailed information on multicasting, refer to the manual for the router or contact the manufacturer of the router.
The file format and server conditions. Even file formats supported by your Smart TV may encounter issues due to the DLNA server conditions.
